This is Not a Real Blog Post

I'm icing my sprained brain this week after a decathlon of writing/revising/editing/critiquing/steeple chasing, but I do have plans for a potentially embarrassing post for next week, fear not.

In the mean time, I'll show you the inside of my refrigerator.

And you thought I was kidding about the Diet Coke thing.

What are you hoarding these days?

Ah. The cheesy crunchy things. I love them as well. Grab me a bag next time you're there.
'Tis to be admired. I'm a chucker in every other way. Chucker being the opposite of hoarder. I throw everything out, even stuff I need.

But when it comes to the DC, as I tell people, "We'll run out of diapers and milk before we run out of Diet Coke."
Kind of along the same lines as above -- is this the spare fridge in the garage or basement? I don't mean just because of the coke but because it is so CLEAN.

Ha! I just cleaned it. Not because I was taking this picture. That was pure coincidence, I swear. It is the "extra" fridge, otherwise known as the Beer Fridge.
Ha! I broke down and bought a case of Coke Zero the other day. I never buy soda, but I've been desperately trying to get a ton of writing/revising/critiquing/editing done, too. Meanwhile, my cupboard is filled with chocolate and cookies from Trader Joe's. And I finally finished my kids' Halloween candy -- just in time for Easter.

Can't wait to read your embarrassing post!

Meghan, you have got to finish that Halloween candy by Christmas. Then the Christmas stuff by Valentine's Day... and so on. You're lagging waaaaay behind here.

And I can't help but notice Trader Joe's has figured in two comments as regards the hoarding of treats.
Trader Joe's has enough delicious snacks to last us all-year long! Honey-sesame almonds is one of my favorite.I really feel it's too much to ask, though, that I finish both of my kids' bags of Halloween candy by Christmas. The Snickers bars alone, maybe, but ALL of it? They're not allowed to help me out, so I'm alone on this one.

Um ... it's not the quantity of Diet Cokes that interests me, but the absence of anything else in the fridge. LOL!

I hoard empty plastic water bottles in the mistaken assumption that I will reuse them someday...despite the fact that plastic water bottles are evil and I use those schmancy stainless steel Kleen Kanteen bottles for myself and my kids. Mr. Sierra recycles the bottles when he finds my cache.
I have come to the conclusion that we all have a little blame global warming and its consequences and guilt even more politicians who do not slow down. http://www.globalwarmingweb.com/
